Copper as material

Copper material has unique properties that make it technically challenging to cut, primarily its high reflectivity and thermal conductivity. Traditional laser techniques risk giving uneven cuts or damaging the optics if misaligned. Our solution is based on utilizing the fiber laser's wavelength and power to safely penetrate the material while maintaining detail.

By optimizing cutting speed, focus depth and shielding gas (nitrogen or argon), we create cuts with minimal oxidation and slag, resulting in clean edges and reducing the need for post-processing.

Machinery & process control

Our production environment is adapted to handle large copper sheets up to 4000 x 2000 mm. Each cut is digitally monitored and calibrated based on the thickness and alloy of the material. We work according to current safety and quality regulations, such as AFS 2006:4, with documented processes that guarantee traceability and repeatability.
